Error 32 on iPad mini 2

Trying to restore an iPad mini 2 for my grandson. It was my daughters and it has been stuck on the apple logo. I tried to restore through a macs Catalina OS and Finder. After choosing to restore I get this error.

The iPad could not be restored. An unknown error occurred 32. HELP... I know it is an older version iPad but it was barely used. I cannot find anywhere what that error is
