I use this feature on almost a daily basis and it's really useful but recently, when I hold down a key to get the accents, it doesn't show up on my touch bar anymore. it does show up on the screen but not on the touch bar.
Does anyone know why this is or what I can do to bring it back? I would greatly appreciate it.

Does this occur after starting up in Safe Mode?
Consider the possibility of a third party software conflict. EtreCheck can be used to investigate what is installed. You can post the report here. Someone might spot something.

First of all, thanks CT, if I hold down a key in Guest, it just repeats it, accents don't even show up on the screen. And I wasn't able to use Safe Mode.

What happened when you tried Safe Mode? If that doesn't work, you have bigger problems than accents. Also, try the etrecheck thing.
