apple watch starts charging but then stops charging sometime during the night

This has happened to me several times now since updating to the 6.2.8. The watch starts charging, and I see the charging symbol. In the morning, I find it charged only to 29% in the morning. I've checked my charging cable and the outlet--no problems there.

Maybe try a different charging puck.

I had an issue when going to OS 5 that would set my watch sound an alert when the watch got to 90% then every 2 minutes after until I removed it from the charging puck.

I change the puck and never had the issue since.
