Im currently using Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6 and Im unable to upgrade. Why is that? There is nothing wrong with this system and I have plenty of room and storage capabilities. 2011 purchase. whats the issue? to old and need to buy a new model ?

Mojave and Catalina require a Metal-capable graphics card. Except for desktop Mac Pros, this requires a 2012 or newer model.
