How do I remove the microphone icon from my screen?

A few weeks ago, I noticed I suddenly had a microphone icon appear on my screen. Unfortunately I have not been able to close it and it is always there on my screen. I am able to put it sleep so that it isn't working, but other than that I cannot move it from my screen. Can someone help me to close it?

MacBook, macOS 10.15

Hi Rebecca,

Go to System Preferences > Accessibility
Scroll down until you see "Voice Control"
Disable Voice Control.
