Does Safari support derived credentials

For a mobile solution, need to implement derived credential authentication for a PWA. Does Safari or any other iOS browsers support derived credentials?

Safari's HTTP Basic Auth "Remember this password" not remembering the password We have a site that is protected by a HTTP Basic Auth credential, and every time I navigate between pages(and sometimes when the page itself makes an fetch request) I get prompted for the basic auth password. It is so exhausting and slow to have to pull up the password every few seconds. The site we are accessing is HTTPS and only uses HTTPS for that site. The only thing I've noticed in the network inspector that could be related is that every subsequent request on the page is not sending the password(for example the images and stylesheets).
