UPDATE: **I just fixed the issue by replacing the camera.**

The camera may work normal but when the portrait mode are not saving portrait pictures then the camera is already broken. Now that my camera is replaced, the issue on portrait mode is now gone. :)

Hello jericho161,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! We see you're having an issue with Portrait mode on your iPhone 7 Plus, and we'd like to help.

Has your iPhone 7 Plus ever been able to take Portrait mode photos and also see them as Portrait mode in the Photos app?

If so, have you restarted your iPhone since noticing this issue? If not, go ahead and do that, as a restart can resolve unexpected issues. Restart your iPhone

When you're taking the photo, make sure you're using the rear camera, as the front facing camera on an iPhone 7 Plus doesn't have Portrait mode as an option.

Check out the steps in this article: Use Portrait mode on your iPhone

Try standing about 8 feet away from the subject. Also try different subjects to see if that makes a difference.

Keep in mind, if the photo is shared or saved to other apps, they may not support Portrait mode.

Take care!
