Text message log

Good morning. Up until this past April, ALL of my text messages showed up on by phone bill text log. Now, suddenly, my 12 year old daughters texts are not showing up. It's saying she only had 33 text messages all month. Anyone with a 12 year old knows that's not true. Everyone keeps saying that the iMessages don't show on your bill... however up until 3 months ago, they did. And now, all of mine show, but not my daughters. Did Apple change something?????

Hello Arizzo,

I know you know that Apple is not your service provider and does not bill you. Apple therefore does not track your data usage and does not categorize your iMessages and SMS Messages. You carrier does that. Please call your carrier and ask this question since your carrier is your cellular service provider and is billing you.

I do know that, and I am very well aware of that. My question is if my iMessages are considered data, as they are, how were they showing up on my billing for years, and now all of a sudden they aren't. I am asking here, because I saw on several other sites, people were asking this same question, since April 2020, and they were all with different providers, i.e. Sprint, AT&T, Verizon... So I thought that maybe Apple has changed something in the way an iMessage is logged at all
