Device completely dead, wont charge

My ipad pro has been completely dead for a few months now. When I plug it in it just shows the battery with the red line at the bottom, which usually means it's charging but in my case, it doesn't seem like its charging at all. I can't do restores on it or anything because it doesn't connect to itunes and I can't turn it on to restore from in the ipad. Please help, this is my school ipad and although its summer, school starts in a few weeks and I want to be able to use it by then.

Also, in case this is relevant, the screen is cracked.
