When using my Series 5 Apple Watch Fall Alert, it goes off when I am just sitting. It went off last night when it was not suppose to be monitoring me. How do I stop this?

Apple Watch Fall Detection My apple watch's fall detection has gone haywire. It is not notifying me of a suspected fall but is immediately notifying my emergency contacts. It keeps doing it over and over. It has done it about 5 times in the last hour. I tried turning the phone off and rebooting it, but that did not help. How to acknowledge fall alert on Apple Watch 5. When I trip the fall alert, is there any special way to tap, stroke or whatever to say, "I'm OK"? I tap, tap harder, stroke, hold the tap and anything else I can think of but the alert will not go away. Then when it finally does I don't know whether it has timed out or if I have finally gotten the right touch. Can someone tell me the proper way to cancel an alert and tell me if the watch is supposed to show my action?
