How do i get rid of flashing file with question mark on mac book pro?

How?


Figure out why your bootable storage device has gone missing, or has gotten corrupted.


Which MacBook Pro model and year?


Boot Recovery, and try getting a backup to an external (blank) storage device. If this device is failing (and not failed), you might be able to get some information copied off the device. This if you don’t already have a current backup.


Then run Hardware Test or Diagnostics.
