I recently got a MacBook and it got damaged wondering if it’s too late to get Apple care ?

Yes. Getting AppleCare+ separate from the computer requires it to pass an inspection or remote diagnostic, which it won't do after the damage.

You have 60 days from date of purchase to buy AppleCare.
