Is there a way to adjust the brightness or turn off the light on the Touch Bar?
When I'm on an airplane on a red eye and decide to work on my laptop, is the bar going to be annoying the friendly passengers in the seats next to me? Or when I'm watching Netflix and the lights are just GLARING. This is frustrating. I hope there's a way to dim the light, like you can with the keyboard backlight. C'mon, Apple.

No. There is no user preferences for this request.
Even with the keyboard backlight off, the touchbar will always be on.
It will respond to strong ambient light by getting brighter, but never turn off completely in the darkest of settings.
