No, the new Magic Keyboard for iPad is not compatible with your iPad Pro - or any iPad that has a physical Home Button.

No, it is not. The new iPad Magic Keyboard is only compatible with iPad Pro 12.9/11 Face ID models released in 2018 and 2020. For iPad Pro 12.9, that means generation 3 and 4.
