Voice memos stop when YouTube video starts.

Is there a way around voice memos stopping when i start recording videos? I want to record myself singing over music from YouTube. Please any suggestions are helpful.

Unable to save voice memos after recording I am unable to save the recorded voice memo. I open the app, start recording, speak something, I can see the audio waveform in the window. When I press the stop button, the waveform stops but I don’t see any menu option to save it. If I close the app and reopen, the recording is lost. Note the screenshot attached. Random Downloading on Voice Memos How do I get my voice memos to stop randomly downloading? Between recording, my voice memo will just started downloading, and it does this for days on end. Why is this happening when I did not initiate this process? Updating can cause this to happen, but in my case, there was no updating involved.
