AirPods 1, h1 chip or w1 chip?

So I’m confused, I’ve seen multiple sources say the AirPods 1 have the w1 chip but whenever I got to apple.com

and go to AirPods 1 it says on the details that it has the h1 chip, is that true?

iPhone 7, iOS 13

Hello LeonardoUn1,

We can see that you want more information on what type of hardware is used within your AirPods. We can understand wanting more information about your device. If you have the AirPods (1st generation), they use a custom Apple W1 chip. For this information and more, check out the AirPods (1st generation) - Technical Specifications.

Looking into more AirPod specs, it looks like both the AirPods 2nd generation along with the AirPods Pro use the H1 chip. You can check out those details here:

Best regards!
