not able to locate password protected file

hello everyone,

I made a password protected file /folder on my mac using disk utility option.

i do remember its password

but now i m not bale to locate it.

where does these files go?

i have opened those folder few times back.

can anybody help me out?

i have not upgraded my os after creating those files.

Password protect a folder I'm going to have my iMac migrated to a Mac Mini, and I would like to password protect the folder where I store my passwords. Or, would it be best to drag the folder off the iMac onto a flash drive, before it is migrated? Thanks Allan
