Will there be another way to use a VPN the future OS versions?
If my current VPN will no longer be supported by future versions of Mac OS (since it is "legacy software"), will there be another way to use a VPN?

There is already another way to use a VPN built into the OS. You just won't be able to use the scam VPNs that are out there making you think you are more secure but are skimming all the data you send through them.
But, that market is likely so lucrative that they will write a compatible version for you to continue to use.
