Apple Id purchase history

I had to wipe my kids phone because of my kid download off limits stuff. I found out that she was able to easily download apps that were downloaded in the past. Do I need to create her a new apple id or is there a way to remove purchase history?

You can hide the purchases. There isn't a way to delete them.
