Workout App - Apple Watch
I believe workout needs significant improvements. For cycling cadence is missing and for running cadence is available. Any ideas how to give feedback to Apple to improve the workout app.

We are users just like you and are not privy to Apple plans,
maybe because you don't carry your iPhone in most Workouts.
FYI, There's an builtin Activity app that sync your Workout from Watch.

Any reason why there is no workout app for iPhone and only Apple Watch. Apple should consider one workout app for iPhone. This will allow more stickiness and comprehensive app to track sports activities
Thanks for sharing the link. Yes I’m aware of activity map. That’s only captures data from Apple Watch. It would be great to have workout app on iPhone so if any non Apple Watch users can also use it.
There are plenty of workout apps for iPhone on the App Store. Most are guidance based, however, as it's not very convenient to strap the phone to a body-part (Remember Nintendo Wii workouts? Ugh!) in order to complete a workout.
The other issue is data... The iPhone doesn't easily record heart rate, which is the primary datapoint needed to gauge workout intensity. My guess is that this coupled with the inconvenience of using an iPhone during workouts is the reason apple has focused on the watch as a primary workout data-recording device.
