pictures folder in finder is empty. where do I find the pictures?
my picture folder is empty. the folders are there but the pictures have disappeared

I hold most of them in iphotos

So, iPhoto runs but all your images are gone?
What might have happened? Did you use any "Cleaner apps"?
What is the state of your backup?
yes I used Gemini as a cleaner app
You might need to restore from your backup.
What do you use to normally access your images?
Just the finder?
Photos?
iPhoto?
