Unable to set visual voice mail in india

I checked and confirmed with my carrier my voice mail was active and i tested it by calling my own number from my friends number it is working fine and i am able to hear them if i called voice mail number of airtel. But in phone app it is just showing call voice mail instead if setup i tried resetting the mobile also no use please help
