Facebook wont show up on my mac/internet access

I want to add my facebook account to my mac. I got to system preference than internet access and there is no facebook button for me to even add my facebook account info. Only icloud gmail aol and a few others. So how do i get facebook to appear under my internet access? All my google research just tells me the steps to find facebook under internet preferences and sign in, i just do not even have that option. I even just updated my mac to the latest software and no luck. I have a 2017 macbook air
