Apple Books Audiobook gift redemption and download issue

I was gifted an audiobook but it didn’t complete the downloading process after redeeming. I couldn’t find it in my library so I went back to start the process again but it kept saying it’s been redeemed already. How? It’s not anywhere in my library!
