Highlight dates in year calendar that are in the schedule

Hi! I’m using Numbers in macOS Catalina and I created a document from the Calendar template in it.

First, there is table with a dynamic year calendar. It has a drop down menu to pick the first month. Currently, this year calendar starts in July 20 and ends in June 21.

Next to it, there is a table with a schedule. I enter the dates on each row.

I’m looking for a function or some kind of conditional formatting in which the date I enter on the schedule (Table 2) becomes automatically highlighted on the year calendar (Table 1).

Here’s what the year calendar looks like. The dates were manually highlighted.

Here’s what the schedule looks like. Conditional formatting lets me highlight an exact date or all dates in an interval, but that’s not the case. I’d like to highlight dates that appear in this range of cells.

Thank you
