I am getting numerous Spam text messages. I block them as I get them, but why is the unknown sender feature not working? I have turned it off and back on and restarted phone. Help.

Unknown sender is only for iMessages and not for SMS. Contact your carrier for SMS/MMS

For spam text messages forward them to 7726 (SPAM) and your carrier will block them.
