activation lock

To have the activation lock removed from off my son’s iPhone, I had to submit proof of purchase of the phone, I sent it and haven’t heard anything, do anyone know how long it is going to take Apple to respond or remove it off his phone after the information is sent them for proof?

In my experience that process takes 7-10 business days.
