What do I do if I get a text message that does not have the “I” icon with the senders message nor does it have any other options to select to block the text m message?

I have been getting text messages from an unknown source. I have tried to block these texts using the directions I found online but the “I” icon is not there there are no options at all. I’m Sick off these texts and quite honestly they are kinda creepy. Does anyone have any suggestions? HELP!!

Hello Buggman95,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It's understandable to be concerned when receiving these kinds of messages. We'll do what we can to help.

Only iMessages would be able to be reported, but you should still be able to block the sender: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If that's the 'i' you're not seeing, then try searching the contact in your Contacts app and blocking from there instead or using a third-party app to apply filters: Detect and block spam phone calls

Best regards.
