Hi guys my iphone 6 plus is on ios 12.4.7 and while others are getting ios 12.4.8 updates of less than 40mbs mine is of 2.47gb what could be wrong guys?

Seems you got the full iOS software download, not a just-the-differences update.
Downloads using Mac and Windows tend to be larger than the Wi-Fi, for instance.
And sometimes something triggers a full download.
The path is the same, though.
Back up your device, and load the update.
