Email problems after new MacBook Pro purchase
For at least a year we have been sharing calendars, contacts and reminders across five devices using my iCloud account - two iPhones an 11 and 7, mine and hers, two iPads mini's (both 5th generation) again mine and hers and one laptop running Catalina, which I use. All devices are running on the most current operating system software. We both have our own gmail account. Mine on the Mac and my iPhone and iPad and hers on her iPhone and iPad.
Last month I just purchased a new MacBook Pro and tried to transfer the settings on my old MacBook Pro to the new one and apparently I didn't make the transfer correctly. Our contacts, calendar and reminders work correctly - we can add, change or delete on any device and ti appears on the change appears on the other devices. Our problem centers on my wife's email account. She either doesn't receive an email, they disappear, or most often they appear in her trash file instead of her inbox. I've moved emails for her from Trash to her Inbox and that seems to work for a couple days and then the problem occurs again (or at least we don't recognize that it is occurring). When I try to send or forward her an email I receive an error message Cannot send Message Using Google Server.
I tried deleting her email account and reinstalling it but the problem remains. Not sure where to go next. Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.
