Microsoft Teams on my iMac
I have a 2008 iMac with a Yosemite 10.10.5 OS. Unfortunately, Microsoft Teams requires 10.11 OS or later. What operating system can I upgrade to that can support Microsoft Teams?

If your model is from 2012 or later, as shown in your profile, then it can be upgraded to Catalina: How to upgrade to macOS Catalina. However, if it is actually a 2008 model, then it can only be upgraded to El Capitan: How to upgrade to OS X El Capitan - Apple Support.

The latest you can upgrade to is OS X 10.11.6; you can get it from here as long as you use the Safari browser to get it.
Kappy,
Thank you for the quick response. I downloaded the el Capitan install and ran it (no problems here). After the script ran...my iMac still says it's running Yosemite 10.10.5.
I tried restarting my iMac and tried reinstalling el Capitan again...but still says I'm running Yosemite 10.10.5.
What am I doing wrong?
I figured it out...I'm good to go...thank you!
