I7 dual-core 3.3 ghz for graphic design

I’m a graphic designer and I would like to know if a 2016 MacBook Pro - 16 GB Ram and Intel I7 dual-core 3.3 ghz can allow me to use Photoshop daily, Lightroom, Illustrator and Premiere occasionally (Premiere at 1080p quality as maximum) without any inconvenient. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

It depends. How much are you paying for this computer? Any more than 1,000 I would just get the base model 13" from 2020 and upgrade the ram to 16GB why? Let me explain. You will be getting a quad core i5 which may not look powerful at first glance, but will actually beat out every single 15" MacBook Pro from 2017 and before. Keep in mind that those are all core i7s that consume much more power and have vastly higher clock speeds. Crazy right? But that isn't the end. The 2016 13" MacBook Pros have keyboard problems display connector problems and although Apple does have a replacement program for both of these issues the last 2016 MacBook pros were sold from late 2016 to early 2017 so even if you have a slightly newer one, the program for the keyboard will end for you either fall of this year or early next year. I have a 2016 15" MacBook Pro that had a dying butterfly keyboard just 3 weeks ago. I did the replacement program and it takes 2 weeks. you do get a brand new battery, speakers along with the new keyboard so that is a nice plus, but again, the 2020 does not have any of the problems that I listed above, so it just doesn't make sense to get a top spec 2016 that will have problems with the keyboard, and display that will still not be as powerful as a base model from this year. I do 4k video editing on my 2016 15" so I am 100% sure that the base model that is more powerful than mine will be able to do it just as well if not better. So in short it will suit your needs but the new one is of insanely good value, so you may regret it in the future.

Hope this helped!
