Change networks on my Time Machine

I acquired a Netgear ORBI network extender and would like to change my Time Machine over to this network. Not sure how to accomplish.

Thank you,

It depends what you are trying to do.

If you want to keep using the TC for backup.. reset TC to factory.. no files are lost on the hard disk.

Plug it into Orbi ethernet either on the router or satellite.. the one closest to your computer if you use wifi. Then run airport utility and configure it in bridge.. fairly simple but we can give further instructions if you need help.

IMHO you will do better selling off the TC which has become very unreliable with Catalina.. secure erase it before you sell.. and get a simple USB drive for your backup.. or if that is not convenient then look at a suitable NAS like Synology.
