Hey there A.Magus,

We understand that you're wondering how long you have to purchase AppleCare+.

Check out this information from the following article: Buy an AppleCare plan

"In most countries and regions, you can buy AppleCare+ within 60 days of your device purchase. In Japan, you can buy AppleCare+ within 30 days of your device purchase."

The point is: if you are in a country offering Applecare +, then it is 60 days. There are a few countries/rgions where they still sell the "old" Applecare (not Applecare plus), and in that case, it is within one year of the purchase date of your device. You will need to figure out what is being offered in your country.
