aol mail shutting down

My aol mail is suddenly shutting down today on my macbook pro. It happened after I opened a document scanned from my HP printer. I was able to see the document but mail is now shutting down when I try to open it. I tried restarting my macbook pro but that has not helped.

Mail hasn't been working correctly in Ventura Apple's MAIL program has not been working correctly since I updated to Ventura. On my Mac, I can no longer mover emailed to folders, tag emails as read/unread, or flag emails. I have to FORCE Mail to quit. It continuously says "moving 1 of 9". Is anyone else having problems with MAIL?
