I changed my password for my internet provider. Now I cannot get email on my iphone 7 or my apple ipad

Just like you did it the first time. Go to Settings>Passwords & Accounts>Add Account. If your email provider is listed, tap on it and follow the prompts. If it isn’t listed, tap on Other>Add Mail Account and go from there.


Deleting your email account does not have any effect on your email messages. They will still be on the server. You will only be deleting access to the email account on the device.

Go to Settings>Passwords and Accounts>Your e-mail account>Account>Incoming Mail Server>Password and make sure you correct the password there and also in Settings>Passwords and Accounts>Your e-mail account>Account>Outgoing Mail Server Setting>Primary Server>Outgoing Mail Server Setting>Password and make sure you change it there as well.


If you can’t make that work, delete your email account, restart your phone and then add the account back to the phone.
