iOS 9.3.5

My iPod touch wont upgrade past iOS 9.3.5. This is a major issue because it wont let me download any new apps due to being incompatible.

Hello,

If your iPod touch will not update past 9 then you have an iPod touch (5th generation). You cannot update your iPod touch any further. If you need to use software that requires a newer system software version then you will need to purchase a newer iPod touch model.
