Question About Apple TV 4K Audio

I use the Tidal app from the App Store on Apple TV to stream high definition music. I connect my Apple TV 4K directly to my Rotel RAP-1580 processor via HDMI. TIDAL offers HiFi subscribers uncompressed 16 bit / 44kHz CD Quality rendering and a selection of Masters ranging from 16 to 24 bit / 44.1, 88.2, 96, 192 up to 352 kHz.  Question: can the Apple TV 4K receive 16-24 bit music from Tidal and deliver it to my Rotel processor via HDMI or does the Apple TV compress higher bitrate music tracks before sending the signal to my processor thereby rendering Tidal's high definition music useless?

Through Apple TV, everything audio from all apps is output as 16-bit 48 kHz. Tidal can’t circumvent that on this device.

The question is not about Tidal but about Apple TV.
