Broken home button, can't upgrade

I have an iPhone 6s. The home button is broken, and I can’t use assistive touch

because I tried resetting it. I have an appointment five days from now at my

local Genius Bar, but I was wondering if there are any workarounds I could use

to upgrade without pressing the home button?

The home button is not working well at all since I updated to IOS 13, this is frustrating. I tried to restart, force restart using the home button all means, it works for minutes and then collapsed again and again. Please support.
