I saw.
Try booting into Safe Mode, then double-click on the "Install macOS Catalina" file that should be in the Applications folder.

What happened when you tried? Any error messages?
Yes, an error message popped up.
You need to reveal what the error message said. :)
:D I tried to attach a photo but it didn’t work. The error display just says An error occurred installing macOS. you can try again to complete the installation.
You could just type it.
I did. ^^
I have tried everything. I don’t know what is wrong with my MacBook. I try to get help from a friend who also knows about macOS but he also could not figure out why it wasn’t working.
First, is the "Install macOS Catalina" file in your Applications folder?
Yes.
By any chance, did you enable FileVault? If so, you won't be able to install Catalina until it is done encrypting.
No, I don’t even know what FireVault is...
Check System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Filevault.
I’ll try that. Thanks.
Hey again. It still did now work.
