Extreem background noise (AirPods Pro)

I really like the AirPods Pro however when I am on the phone with somebody that person hears the background noise extremely loud, it's unbearable and usually means that I either end the call or don't use AirPods for the phone conversation.

And these are the simple normal sounds like typing, turning on a faucet, crumbling a piece of paper, etc. Walking on a busy street whilst using the AirPods Pro with a call is an absolute no go.

Obviously I followed the process of resetting the AirPods Pro, disconnecting, connecting the aipods pro etc. Apple even replaced the AirPods Pro (not the case).

Any suggestions other the resetting the AirPods and/or re-connection with my iPhone?

Hi MrBill3, thank you for your reply. It's not a matter of having noise-canceling on the microphone. If you have any form of background noise then this background noise is amplified/louder then my voice it self. Meaning that you can not use the AirPods Pro at all for phone conversations. I have compared this with another set of AirPods pro and they work fine.

I have contacted Apple support and reset the AirPods Pro, and also connected them to a different iPhone to rule out any setting/problems with the iPhone. Didn's solve the issue.

They are sending a new set of AirPods pro, this should fix the problem.
