cancelling iCloud monthly storage

Hi I currently pay .79p a month for the bonus 50GB of iCloud space but after not making (hardly any) use of it I wish to cancel it. My question is what happens say I have used 7GB of the 50GB to the 2GB of data when returning to the standard free 5GB iCloud offers?
