I can’t type any input on the ‘Payment method’ screen in Settings

I’m trying to add a new payment method in Settings and whenever I click into any of the text input areas (card number, expiry date or CVV) I get sent to the previous page. I tried adding the payment method on the Apple ID management page on my computer but I still need to enter the CVV to verify the card.

I’ve tried doing the input normally, with the Pencil, and with an external mouse and keyboard but I keep getting the same response.
