Thanks for posting! Sounds like you are trying to leave a group chat in Messages, do we have that right? If so, you can leave a group chat as long as there are three other people in the group and everyone is using iMessage. If you're not seeing this option, that means someone in the group isn't using iMessage so you can't remove yourself but you can mute the conversation.
