hi I’m currently a student needing to use Microsoft teams during the pandemic for school and I’m looking into buying a MacBook Pro, am I able to download Microsoft teams on this laptop?

Yes, Teams runs fine on a Mac – I use it all the time. However, you need the right Microsoft subscription to get it, the Personal/Home versions don't include Teams, you need an Enterprise/Business-level subscription. If your school provides that, you're good to go.
