BBC randomly appears in my text messages. This is not predictable text! I don’t live in England and I’m a big tall black dude so it’s embarrassing and inappropriate!! This is ridiculous!
It's pretty simple. I type into messenger rapidly. Then the letters "BBC" shows up as an autosuggest and then in my text. I'm not alone: 266 people had this same issue in: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250928360
What do you mean it appears randomly? Do you mean it shows up as a suggested word?
These are predictions based on your typing patterns, so if you always type "are" after "How", it'll suggest you type "are" since you frequently use that pattern when typing "How are you"
Here are two examples I found:
“Bagels should work and then maybe head to the BBC park”
“Hey I hope you & your family are doing well.
Do you have BBC a tile guy that can do a small rectangular kitchen in the next week?”
i don’t see any obvious context here.
This is a bug that someone at Apple should fix.
You still haven't bothered to explain what you're actually seeing and where.

What words are you saying before? It's about context, so if you're typing "Im going to go watch" then BBC (british broadcasting channel) would be suggested because that is the context.
I am not sure what triggers it. It has happened multiple times over the last months after doing 100s messages. Obviously I’m not the only one if it’s a complaint by 100s of people.
typing in bbc will do it though, and I would really rather not have it autocorrected at all. As far as I’m concerned it should be on the ignore list for autocorrect the same as the F word the C word and the rest. Instead it takes those three mistyped letters and highlights and capitalizes them and to everyone in the US it does not stand for British Broadcasting Corp...
Mind constantly puts BBC or NBC even if I’m asking somebody to pick up milk at the store it has nothing to do with Contacts or anything I’ve ever typed I’ve never typed either of those things. For me it happens when I use the space key to advance the cursor instead of advancing the cursor BBC pops up every single time now.
And what, for example, prompts autocorrect to suggest that?
For me, it appears when I first open the message. Before I even start to type a message “BBC” is already in the message box ready to be sent
That is not true.
1) You obviously do not put pornographic or explicit language in the spell check. I have probably typed "****" thousands of times and it never shows up.
2) There are hundreds of folks with this problem: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250928360 I think you might have a developer at Apple playing tricks on people because this doesn't have anything to do with predictive text. When I type other letters fast it just randomly pops up.
3) IF it is "My" typing patterns, then I should get to decide what goes into autosuggest. If in my private time I want to message with my friends some slang and explicit content then it should not randomly show up in a message I'm trying to rapidly get out to a professional work client.
4) For me this is a racial issue, so please get a developer of color (preferably a Black person) at Apple (if you have one) to weigh in on your engineering when it comes to slang: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/BBC#:~:text=(slang%2C%20initialism%2C%20vulgar)%20Big%20black%20****.
