Saving data.

I am upgrading from an Ipad 4 (IOS10?) to the latest 128gb model. How do I save or transfer my data? I want to save my photos etc. Can I use a memory stick? Can you transfer from an Ipad 4 with IOS 10? If so what model & size of stick do I need. I also have a couple of games I play how do I transfer these without losing my progress?
