AppleID avatar not aligned on other devices

Hello,

I use my Memoji face as my AppleID avatar.

Everything is fine on my iPhone but on my MacBook and AppleTV the image is maligned - like it has slipped to left.

It has been like this for a long time but I'm pretty sure that it was okay on the other devices at first - I don't remember which means it was probably okay as I wasn't annoyed about it.

How do I fix it?

Cheers

Have you checked your picture on your card in Contacts? See if anything here helps.

Apple ID picture on your Mac.

Apple ID photo in Settings on iCloud.com.

Thank you for responding.

On my iPhone Contacts the avatar is fine. My contact card is at the top above "A".

On my MacBook Contacts my card is not at the top but is just a regular contact ccad on my list. The picture is misaligned.

On the MacBook, open the Contacts application and select your card. Then go to the Card menu at the top and select Make This My Card from the dropdown menu. On the avatar , click on it, and select Edit. Fix the avatar by adding a corrected picture.

You may have to restart after that. Check the displayed image on the computer and the TV.

I moved and changed the avatar size in contacts an after a restart it fixed all the avatars on the Mac. It has also corrected on my AppleTV. Adjusting the image was an option I considered but I didn't know why it was misaligned and I thought I might mess up more.

Shouldn't the avatar just be correct across all my devices? I thought maybe t was because my macOS is not up to date but this doesn't explain why it is misaligned on my AppleTV.

Also Safari on my activity is syncing with my Safari usage on my iPhone but not the other way around.

On the phone, try Settings/Your Name/iCloud and slide off syncing. Wait a few minutes and then slide syncing on. Allow time for syncing to occur. The photos sync is very, very slow.

Last resort - have you tried signing out of iCloud, restarting the device, and then sign back in?

Sorry I phrased myself very badly in the last post. Let me try again.

Your advice to adjust the avatar in the MacBook Contacts has solved the problem. Thank you for that.

What I asked (very badly) was why did the avatar misalign in the first place? Could the cause have been that the MacBook is using an older OS.
