The noise cancelling sucks I have to put volume all the way up is that normal

Noise canceling... of what? AirPods? AirPods Pro? iPhone?

Noise canceling has nothing to do with volume of the AirPods.

Mine works pretty well.

Try putting them in your ears properly.

I have it says good seal. I work in a noisy environment and it did not drown any of that noise out.
