How to remove bookmarks from the home screen?

Hi,

I have recently picked up my iPad Air (updated to highest it will go) agin after using it for school and I have a lot of bookmarks on my home screen, when I hold down there is no x to delete it. I have seen a post on here that says find restrictions in general and turn it off, but I can not find the restrictions tab.

So how do I get ride of them?

Thanks so much.

Maybe there are restrictions which prevent you from deleting apps, etc.

If so, try this:

  1. From the home screen of your iPhone, tap on Settings.
  2. On the Setting screen, scroll down and tap on Screen Time.
  3. On the screen time screen, tap on Content & Privacy Restrictions
  4. On the Content & Settings Restrictions screen, make sure the option for Content & Privacy Restrictions is toggled ON and tap on iTunes & App Store Purchases.
  5. On the next screen, tap on Deleting Apps option.
  6. On the Next screen, tap on Allow to allow deleting of Apps on your iPhone.
